Well Lis and I celebrated one year together today. I ended up leaving work an hour early because I worked thru lunch -- so I wandered over to her place around 5ish. We hung out there for a little while and then went over to the Olive Garden for dinner. We had a very pleasant (and yummy!) dinner. We had plans of renting a movie and watching it, but Lis has a test to take tomorrow morning in stats. So we just hung out around the apt. After hanging out, Lis sat at my new kitchen "table" (that would be a card table to the untrained eye) and studied while I worked on different projects and helped a few poor, lost souls out with REALbasic problems. It was a really nice night!
Lis and I have both come to the conclusion that the kitchen table rocks. It means she can come over and bring homework so she doesn't feel rushed or stressed; I can get some work done or play video games while Lis is studying so I don't feel unproductive; and it's a place to sit down and eat that's not the couch!
Well, not too much else to report. Hopefully Lis' test goes well tomorrow. I'm sure it will. I've found a math equation to describe how school and Elissa interact. It looks a little something like this:
Lis' Test Score = 1 - (1 / ((amount she bitches that she doesn't know the subject)^2 + amount of time spent studying / subject difficulty))
So, for example... she has a stats test tomorrow. She's complained about it about 75% of the time she's been studying for it, which has been roughly 2 hours. She claims the stats class isn't that hard 75% of the time, but sometimes it can be. So if we say .75^2 + 2 / .25, then she'll get about 10.25. Now if we map that back into the equation 1 - 1/10.25, she'll get roughyl 90% on her test.
We'll see just how accurate I am on this once she gets her test score back. I'll try to apply this equation to her other classes to see if it holds true. God I love being a geek!
I'm assuming that was you that posted on my diary...if it was...sweet...if it wasn't...I don't know who the hell it was...hehe...anywaykeep it real yo.
