I love it when it gets to be fall. I really miss the fall in MN since it's always so beautiful there. But one thing that's universal about fall is the advent of more cheap candy. I can go buy entire bags of the stuff for like a dollar. Man, it doesn't get better than that.
I think Republicans are exactly the same as Democrats currently. They're all a bunch of lying sacks of shit. Neither of the two candidates for the upcoming election deserve to be voted for. G W Bush is a flaming moron. The guy can't lead his way out of the bathroom, much less be trusted with things like pretzel eating or remembering the names of foreign leaders. And Kerry's too damn long-winded. If anything were to happen that needs action (and no, I'm not talking about terrorist!) such as a bill needing to be signed -- he'd sit and pontificate for about three hours before putting his damn name down. He's just too educated for the American people (on the whole) to want to vote for. He's smart enough that most people will be angry at him since he's smarter. I don't want anyone to win the upcoming election. I want both candidates to drop out or choke on all the mud they sling back and forth.
I fixed a threading bug today. It was a royal PITA. Basically, the threads would go into the scheduler, but oops... never come off the scheduler when they were done executing. Needless to say, it's a blast trying to track down coding problems when you can't rely on the debugger showing you useful information since you have written your own threading model.
I'm currently working on fixing yet another MenuItem bug. Man, I wish we never re-wrote the menu code. I mean, I love the new API -- don't get me wrong. I just hate the Mac. More specifically, Mac Classic. I wish that OS never existed!
I have a headache... but it's nothing that drugs from Cortis can't cure! And I think that having Chipotle for lunch will help as well (food makes everything better, right?). I'm just hoping this goes away before I go play racquetball tonight. Lawrence is getting a lot better, so I need to be in good health to keep up with him!
I should get back to work.
PS -- my main website used over 1GB in bandwidth during Sept, a new record for me. That's a lot of people downloading stuff or viewing pictures!

Don't get me wrong, I can handle Chipotle hot sauce. I just like having my taste buds function enough to actually taste the food from there. And Jake, you don't know hot until you move to Texas. ;-)

LoL, but I like the taste of the food. Once the sauce gets too hot, it detracts from the yummy in my tummy. :-P Fire sauce is for things like Taco Bell where it actually makes the food taste better. But not for things like Chipotle where the food already tastes good.
