Bush has supposedly won the election... which I find interesting since Ohio still hasn't weighed in one way or the other, and I don't think ANY state has counted all their ballots (including absentee and provisionals)... But whatever. Bush Wins = Aaron Hates America for 4 more years.
Work has been really slow going lately. I've got about 4 projects open and modified at once because I'm adding some functionality to our Plugins SDK. Yeesh that's a PITA! But, it's needed -- otherwise it's almost impossible to get console support to work. Yup.... still working on damn console support.
Had fun hanging out with Lis last night (Emily came over as well) at her apt. She made a really good spud soup which we had for dinner while watching CNN pull statistics out of its ass.
I am hoping to get some more web programming done tonight for the newest web page. It's going pretty slow because I hate trying to come up with content. My idea of a perfect page is one that I never need to scroll, it has almost no graphics (unless I am buying something, then I want to see what I am buying) and has only the pertinent information on the page. Sadly, most people seem to want things with lots of marketing-speak and other crap on it. Bleh!
Assuming I don't throw the computer out the window tonight while web programming, I also have some updates to the Windows Compatibility Suite that I need to attend to. It needs some bug fixes, and I've gotten some user submissions and other random ideas for things to implement. None of it should take too long to accomplish -- I just need to find the time to deal with it.
So what is everyone's thoughts on the election results? It wouldn't be a blog without some political comentary from people on the day after the "election"! :-)
I'll move to Canada with you. Damn republicans.
I'd go to Canada. It's amazing that the entire world hates Bush except for half of America who are either duped by his fake religious beliefs or are scared into voting for him because they think he'll protect us.
...Or they're just dumb.
w00t! It's like a happy family moving to Canada. Where should we all live? And Adam, does Andrea agree with you on politics? Just curious. :-)
I said the exact same thing last night...I'm moving to Canada ::laughs::...so where should we all live?...perhaps where you went to school Aaron?
Vancouver is gorgeous. I still have friends up there like Mike and Nikki, so it wouldn't be too lonely. My coworker Mars is just across the border in Seattle too....
Sweet...I'm there =oP
Looks like you'll have to wait in line

LoL, it's not that bad to move to Canada if you know how to do it properly. Since I lived there once before, I'd have a damn easy time living there again, for instance.
I think im going to be a permanent citizen of the internet, can I do that?
Something tells me you can't do that unless you're into Everquest...
