Man, it's absolutely beautiful here in Austin today. It's about 70-75 degrees outside with a slight breeze, and a crystal-clear sky. Lis and I went out for a walk around the apts for a while to enjoy the sun. We liked it so much that we decided to go for a drive around Austin. We took the back road in towards where I work (thru all the million dollar and up homes in Hill Country). Once we got over there, we decided to get some Amy's Ice Cream. We ended the day up by chillin around the apt.
I managed to refactor a large chunk of code for my project last night -- thereby giving myself more work to do this weekend. I basically made the project completely independant from the plugin sdk, which is what I should have done in the first place. But now I'm going thru and patching up all the holes that I've made. But the good news is -- this is the second product that I'll be selling (one will be a plugin, the other will be a C library). So the work wasn't for nothing.
The webpage is coming along slowly, but surely. I got the documentation up finally (it was a lot of docs to mark up), and the purchase page is functional. I still have no clue about how to do the main page for the site though. So if anyone's good at making main pages, let me know. ;-)
I've been reading Lake Woebegon Days by Garrison Keeler lately -- it's a great book. It really reminds me of home (as well it should; he's talking about a place that's only 20 minutes away from my hometown). It's nice that I get the chance to read a bit in my "spare time".
Not too much is planned for the weekend -- just gonna code and enjoy the weather as much as I can. What plans does everyone else have for the weekend? Anything fun?
Um...work...work...and...oh yeah, work
Studying chemistry, and zoo work tomorrow. Not too interesting...
And the drive was great Aaron! : ) You're a wonderful boy.
