w00t for vacations!

I fly out around 4:45pm today to head back to MN for a vacation that lasts until the end of the month! I'm pretty stoked!! Not only because I need a vacation due to my brain melting lately, but I get to go home and see friends + family. :-) We're having a huge Thanksgiving dinner at my uncle Paul's in the cities, and then I know we're also going down to the farm to see dad's side of the family as well. And of course I'll be seeing as many friends as I can possibly fit in.

I dropped Pixel off at Elissa's place on Wed night (gonna miss my kitty!), and got most of my stuff packed last night while Elissa was over (gonna miss my girlie!) and will finish packing when I get home from lunch. So I procrastinate a bit? ;-P The shuttle picks me up around 2pm and from there on out I am sitting in airports until about 10pm. Yee haw. ;-)

I was hoping to have some light reading in the form of my new .NET book for the plane, but it looks like Amazon and USPS conspired to screw me out of that pleasure. The book was supposed to arrive within the last three days, and yet I am still .NET-bookless. :: sighs :: Oh well, I'll just pick up some other form of entertainment while at the airport.

I may or may not be posting every day in the blog while I'm on vacation. I've been saving up some pre-recorded posts that I'll use if I need to though. I hope everyone who is back in TX has a wonderful week (or so) without me!
