Hump day.
Man, I'm rather tired today. I got a ton of stuff done at work yesterday (fixed 15 bugs!), and went over to Lis'. Since she has to work today, I was out of her place a little after 10pm. We exchanged gifts, and she loved hers. :-D I really like mine too -- she got me a bunch of awesome books! I'm stoked, I already started reading the Garrison Keillor book she got me. :-) Lis' mom gave me this gorgeous framed picture of a timber wolf -- she's such a sweetie!
NEWho, I got home last night about 10:30pm, and sat on the phone with mom and dad until about 11:30pm. Then I finally sat down to make dinner (which was a bagel and a bowl of cereal). Ended up getting into bed about 12:30am. But man, 7am came awfully early! My body is still trying to get back on its normal schedule I guess.
I never did swing by Target last night, so that's on the list of things to do tonight. I'm hoping to get that PS2 controller so I can try out MegaMan Collections! Lol, I'm such a geek. :-)
My phone died here at work (the work phone, not the cell phone). So I grabbed a second one. That one died too. I guess it's just not my day to talk on the phone! Thankfully, the third phone lived. But it's about one step away from a rotary phone... I mean... it has a cord! Who's ever heard of phones with cords? :: grins :: I can't wait, because I can already hear the kids I'm going to have saying stuff like that to me. Maybe when I have kids I'll make them suffer through and buy absolutely nothing from this century for them to use. You know -- no cable, no internet, no cordless phones. If they're lucky they'll get to ride in a car! :-P Maybe I just better not have kids...
B'ah...kids are good fun...I'm planning on having 2...in the future of course...not now, but I totally know what you mean about the whole "it has a CORD!" thing...hope that your day goes well my friend and I shall ttyl.
Dude. We need help destroying the enemy.
Talk to me sometime. Oh, I'm getting wireless internet. Yay! I've got the bowling bug now. Must.Bowl.
