The Vikes managed to pull off a win (31-17). Against the Packers no less. Wahoo!
I wonder what sort of pictures Jake will have posted to celebrate the best team winn... oh wait... he likes the Pack. Never mind. ;-)
We'll just have to see how far the Vikes take it. Hopefully all the way, but somehow, I doubt it.
It was a nice weekend (but I feel like I didn't get enough accomplished). Lis and I hung out on Sat, made a really nice southwestern dish. It was made from black beans, onions, red peppers, tortillas and polente. It was damn tasty! Then today we hung out and went for a walk in the park. Lis is doing her research project on monk parakeets, so we went bird watching for them and saw about 50. It was pretty cool.
I ended up watching Cold Mountain and Close Encounters of the Third Kind this weekend as well.
What sort of fun things did you do? Did any of you expect the Packers to lose today?

Yeah, I liked the movie. And yes, everybody does -- even the Vikings. It must be an off-day when they win a playoff round. ;-)
