- I know that .NET's concept of "managed code" is really just Microsoft Speak for "interpreted language", putting it on the same level as Java in my book
- Fall is my favorite season -- I love the smell and the colors and the change in weather
- I believe that religion has absolutely no place in politics. Ever
- I have come to accept that rain in Texas means driving anywhere will take at least twice as long as it would if it was sunny out
- I want between one and fifteen kids, but I can't see myself getting married
- My dream house is in the woods, on a lake in Minnesota. I have the entire house planned out, including floor plans
- I sometimes have dreams of becoming a farmer. No really, you can stop laughing now
- My favorite PC video game is still Counter Strike. My favorite Mac video game is Medal of Honor
- I most likely will never buy another Macintosh. The one that I have currently is a waste of space
- I have dreams where I am writing code. The dreams are usually accurate and, assuming I remember them in the morning, end up becoming reality when I get to work
- I have more programming books than I do any other form of literature, but I am desperately trying to change that since I don't think that's healthy
- I have more female friends than male friends
- My favorite thing about Christmas isn't opening up the presents. It's spending time getting the tree and setting up all the decorations, lights, etc.
- I have never been arrested before. But I have been "escorted" back to my house
- I think Katie Holmes is the hottest actress in the world
- If I was stuck on an island, the three things I would take with me would be a strong knife, a distiller to make drinkable water from, and a friend. FWIW, the knife isn't for the friend, and the water isn't to cook them. The knife is so that you can make things and get food, etc. The water is to stay alive. The friend is for my sanity, though I certainly feel bad for whoever gets whisked off to an island with me! ;-)
- I enjoy creative writing. I usually write funny stories, but lately it's been more philisophical or intellectual
- One trait I don't like to see in people is unwillingness to even try something. People who say "I can't" without ever trying annoy me"
- I don't know anything about databases and I plan to keep it that way if at all possible. I find them boring and tedius (but I can see how they're needed for computing to work efficiently)
- I have seen both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, but I've never gone fishing in either of them
- The only country outside of the US I've been to is Canada, and that's only because I lived there. I've never vacationed outside of the US, but I would like to some day
- I worked for Home Depot for three years while I went to SCSU. I worked as a cashier and in returns, special services, paint, decor and plumbing. I can do everything needed to build a house so that it passes inspection except dig the foundation
- My favorite candy is Reese's Pieces. I hate candy corn the most
- I want to go back to school to get my Master's and PhD so that I can teach at the college level
- My favorite movie is Army of Darkness. My favorite movie trilogy is the original Star Wars trilogy. I think George Lucas is an obstinate asshole for constantly trying to tweak his work; he no longer deserves to be called an artist

::LAUGHS:: these were great...thanks for even more info on you.
No worries Lou, there's fifty more to come still! ;-)
::laughs::...it's funny you should say that because I DID have pizza last night...lol
Hey Cousin!! Have you ever, out of sheer boredom, typed in the names of a few relatives on an Internet search just to see what happens? Well, I found you, baby! Was reading your comments above and noticed the "would like to be a farmer" - does that have something to do with wanting to be just like Clem? HaHa!! I know, I know - a hellacious thought. Anyway - email me back at ksowieja@co.le-sueur.mn.us if you get a spare chance. Haven't seen you in years and that's a terrible thing, but hey - we all have lives, don't we? Take care!
Holy crapoli! Of all the people to randomly stumble into my blog! I'll shoot you off an email tonight when I get home from work so we can catch up a bit!
::laughs:: YEAH!!!!...I could use some JB Weld and make sure that those things don't go anywhere ::evil laugh::...my brother suggested duct tape...but I don't think that'll hold up very well in wet cold conditions...therefore an epoxy would make a much better holdertogetherthingy...yeah...that's it.
Duct tape won't work -- it's meant for things like :: gasps :: ducting. It doesn't hold up well under sunlight is where most of the problem comes in. I don't know if epoxy would have enough strength to hold it in place.. Weld the mofo on there. Either that or use that crap which you fill rust holes with. That stuff tends to hold up pretty well and it an adhesive...
It doesn't hold up when it's cold and wet either...but how am I supposed to weld plastic to metal hmmmm?...I have an idea of how to do it though...it'll be a major RIG operation...but I think it'll do...the next thing I need to tackle is getting my hood to full close...it's only partially closed right now and bobs up and down when wind gets under it (safe...yeah I know) I'm totally waiting for the hood to fly open like in Tommy Boy ::laughs::
Man.... that blows! I think you should just get a new car. ;-)
