The plumber came out this morning and got everything stubbed in, but sadly, due to weather, no basement got poured. And from what I hear, we're supposed to have storms the next two to three days. If I could just get a frame up then we could wrap the whole house and get some work done! But alas and alack, I'm rained out again.
However, tomorrow I will have a dumpster out on the site, so at least that's good news. :-P
I was going to have a nice programming post all written up for people today, but I didn't get the chance because I was busy bug hunting. I'm sure you'll understand which takes priority. :-)
Aside from people whining without cause over at realgurus, I think the slipped ship date was received fairly well. It always shocks me that people complain so loud when a ship date slips -- do they think the date slips because the company is just bored and wants to get a rise out of them? :: shrugs :: Personally, I'd rather get a product later if it means it's going to be better quality. But that's just me!
Lou's comin over tonight -- we're going to play some Double Dash. Yay for video games!
I completely agree with what you've said about the release. When the next version ships, I want it to be the best release ever and I think not releasing too soon will help make that possible.
