My new favorite country artist is definately Kevin Fowler. That guy rocks. But I'm also digging on the Blue October I got from Elissa (not country).
I went out drinkin with Lou, Jess, Shelli and Dan last night. We went to JP's in Sauk Rapids. It was fun, but I was tired so I bailed a bit early. That and I had to work today.
I love smelling lilacs and fresh cut grass -- it's good to be back in MN for those.
It sounds like they have a roof over my house (sans singles), so that's awesome. I'm going to be stopping out there later today, so I'll be sure to snap some new pictures of the place.
Speaking of the house, I have to go pick out a tub surround and fixtures today. Since I'll be out that way, I'm also going to stop off at my HVAC sub's place so that I can see what systems I'm getting and make sure my house is Engery Star compliant. Should be a fun afternoon of picking out stuff.
I forgot to get pics of the house plans, but it's still in the back of my mind to do so. I won't be scanning them in though. For those of you who've never built a house or seen the original plans, they're about 6 feet long per sheet, and 5 or 6 pages.
There's a light rain outside.
I'm helping dad finish putting in the wood floor in my parent's kitchen tonight. We're down to the easy stuff, so it should go fairly quick. It's looking *really* good so far; dad always does a great job with this sort of thing.
I still have to clean the truck at some point today. It still has Lis' fingerprints all over the windshield from where she drunkenly wrote "21" everywhere on her birthday. :-P I miss that girl.
Lou hung out with my ex (one of the Rachels) for a while yesterday and let me know that she's changed a bit. A BIT?! Christ -- the girl wears non-dark makeup, likes shoes and shopping and wears pink now. I think aliens abducted her and replaced her with something else.
The other ex Rachel is in Hong Kong right now. Damn that girl travels a lot!
I think I am going to go to Chipotle today for dinner. It's been a month since I've had anything from there, and I'm totally addicted to their food. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a burrito.
Well, I think that's enough random ramblings for one day. Time to get back to checking stuff out in the language reference.
Thanks for coming out last night. It was fuuuun:)
And I think I'm the only person in MN who doesn't like Chipotle...
You forgot to mention that Rachel read the dictionary...lol.
Sadly, reading the dictionary seems like a normal activity for her. She always was a bit different. :-) But she's a good person, so don't get me wrong.
Well, like I said, I read the phone book sometimes. To each her own:)
