After work on Friday, I went out to dinner with Lis (at Fuddrucker's again since we were craving it). Then Lis, Jennifer, Areen, Lawrence and I went to Slick Willie's to play some pool. Damn did they raise their rates! We only played for like 2.5 hrs and it ended up costing over 50$ for pool and a few drinks. Oh well, all the more reason to get a pool table and put it in the basement of my house. Then I just have to buy drinks. :-P We had a bunch of fun playing pool though, so I don't mind the cost. And between the five of us, it's pretty reasonable.
Lis and I are trying to figure out where we want to go hiking today. It's a nice day out (a bit warm though, in the 80s) and so we'll take advantage of it. We're thinking Pedernales Falls right now, but who knows! I think we're going to be lazy tonight and watch our movies. I'm hoping to spend all day Sunday being lazy though -- this trip has had plenty of chasing for my tastes! :-P
But I've been having a blast. It sure is great to see Lis again, I really miss her. We've fallen back into the normal way we've always been together; it's like we've never been apart. I'm going to miss her when I head back up to MN. :-( But I'll see her again over Thanksgiving, so that's not too far away!
I am looking forward to getting to sleep in my bed and see my cat though. :-P I've heard that dad's been doing a lot of trimwork around the house while I've been down here, so I'm also curious to see how that's coming along. He does such awesome woodworking, I'm sure it's going to look great. w00t!
In any event, I'm going to cut this entry short -- gonna go spend more time with Lis. :-) I hope everyone's having a great weekend! I'll be back in the office on Tuesday, and I'll probably continue the debugging series then.
