I updated the Examples page so that there's now an example which demonstrates how to transfer a file efficiently. Enjoy!

Which example is it?

It's the latter (FileXfer)
It seems from the descriptions that Socket speed test is just the FileXfer example with extra checking involved? Just checking which we should reference if we're trying to make file transferring in our programs.
No, the FileXfer example was a brand-new example, written from scratch. You should use the FileXfer example, the other one will most likely be coming down in the near future.
