Phew, what a whirlwind of a day (literally)! We're getting 40-50 mph winds here. But we got our first snow!!!! Yay!
It started snowing and blowing yesterday about 4 or 5pm. Knocked yet another damned tree down. So dad came out and together we staked all my trees (took about an hour) and when I woke up this morning, none of them were knocked over! w00t!
I went over to the neighbor's last night to drop off a key to my house, explain to them where the cat food, etc is. I'm leaving for Austin this evening for two weeks down there. I won't be back in St Augusta until the 29th.
Hypothetically, my kitchen table and chairs get here this morning. But hypothetically, they were supposed to have called by now as well. I've had nothing but bad luck with Hennen's this time around, and some poor schmuck is going to get an ass-chewing.
I'm excited to see Lis! I get in around 10 or 11pm tonight, so it's going to be a long day of flying. But at least there's a reward at the end of it all. :-) I got a few books to tide me over on the flight, and this time, I'm bringing my wireless router so that we can both be online at the same time with ease. :-P If my copy of Katamari gets here today (which I think is doubtful, but I can dream), then I'm bringing my PS2 along as well. LoL I may bring it anyways and just rent a handful of games while I'm down there -- Lis has a lot of studying to get done and I don't want to distract her by being bored (because I have a tendancy to babble, as she can attest).
Well, I'm off to make a handful of phone calls. I'll hopefully be able to continue regular posts while I'm in Austin, but I may miss a few days due to getting out and having fun. :-P
Have a good trip!
So YOU are the guilty party who brought the cold weather down here, lol! :)
Hope your trip was a good one Aaron.
