Fun Weekend!

I am enjoying being a homeowner.

I spent Saturday doing domesticated things. It was snowing and about 26, so a gorgeous day to go get a Christmas tree. So dad and I went out to Hinkemeyer's (near Rice) and got a tree for him and another one for me. Then I had lunch with mom and dad before coming back to my place to set my tree up with dad. We got the tree up (but decorating hasn't happened quite yet -- I need the little hook dealies to hang some of my decorations) with relatively little pain.

Then I painted my door jamb (on the interior of the front door), shoveled driveways with my neighbors and just generally chilled out.

It was awesome. :-)

Today was the LAN party over at Adam's, which I attended. I don't have a machine that's beefy enough to run Battlefield 1942 (the sequal I think it was), but I still got to play on various people's machines throughout the day. It was a lot of fun as well -- my friends rock. :-)

I spent part of my night working on stuff for my mystery side project, and played with my cat.

Tomorrow it's back to work! I hope everyone else had a fun weekend!

Wait, you still have a mystery side project? I thought all the mysteries were solved. Hmm. How mysterious :)

I know, scary eh? I still have mysterious mystery projects! :-P

If you don't have a machine beefy enough to run Battlefield 1942, that's just sad. You need to upgrade.

Feel free to donate then. ;-)

Will, you should know a programmers work is never done. =)

I am a horrible note leaver and responder. Shame on me.

I will be updating soon because I have ALOT of stuff going on and I just HAVE to write about it! :)

The alien that has invaded my body is a crazy glue sniffing motivated alien and will leave as soon as it hits it's desired goal. We are looking forward to months and months of insanity. Beware.
