Fine fine fine -- gotta keep my little lady happy. ;-)

I had a productive weekend in many respects, which was quite nice. On Saturday, I spent almost the entire day napping and reading. w00t! Lol, ok, so I wasn't productive on Saturday. :-P I'm reading the Lord of the Rings for the Nth time. Just as awesome this time around as every other time around.

However, on Sunday, I really did get things done. I got the entire basement cleaned up. That involved moving most things into the crawl space under the stairs. Including some fairly decent-sized rolls of carpet. Got a bunch of other stuff unpacked and put away. Then I got the garage in order (had to clean some wiring up and things like that). Then I did a bit of cleaning upstairs. Lotsa little things like that.

I also installed the Vista CTP from December (since I finally got a DVD burner and some burning software) this weekend. I spent the majority of my workday today checking the new build out, and reporting REALbasic bugs against it. Overall, lookin really nice. But they really messed some things up in this build -- the network sharing stuff is almost entirely broken. The security permissions are hosed when doing Samba shares with OS X. Which made me very annoyed since the only way I could transfer files from my Mac to Vista was by using a chat client. The interface has been cleaned up in some areas, but there's still a bit of work that they need to do before it's as polished as XP. But it's coming along very nicely. Maybe I'll get some more screen shots up for people this week.

I leave for Austin this Thursday -- I'm stoked! I still have to get a haircut though. ;-)
