So I found a new game, and I decided to convert it into a REALbasic game and torture all of you with it. It's called Petals Around the Rose, and it's a dice game.
The rules of the game are simple:
1) The name of the game is Petals Around the Rose
2) All the answers are even
3) After any guess, you will be told the correct answer
Once you have figured the game out to the point where you can guess every roll correctly, then you've won!
And that's all the more information I can give you about it. You can find the game and source code here. If you think you've got the answer, you can email me directly to verify (but you'll know when you know the proper answer, so my guess is that you won't have to email me). Please, do NOT post the solution here (and obviously, don't cheat!) and spoil it for others. And don't bother trying to crack the password for the encrypted module -- I've already forgotten what the password is! LoL :-)
The game runs on all platforms, so here you go -- waste your weekend with this brain teaser!

The project thinks it's a 2006r2 version. Did you mean to do this? I assume I'm not losing anything by saving it as 2006r1.
Yeah, the project is saved in a beta version because I wanted to test it out. You won't lose anything by using other versions of RB though.
I couldn’t believe it was that simple... but only figured it out after playing around with equations for about 10 minutes ;)
I am VERY frustrated. I have been working on this "Petals" puzzle on and off for over a year now (actually, since April of 2005). I am on the verge of quitting before I lose my mind. Someone, PLEASE send me the answer.
