What a dreary day!

I'm having one of those "do I have to do anything" sort of days today. It's very dreary outside (been raining/snowing for a while, but stopped recently), and I'm just not in the mood to accomplish much.

I managed to get Vista up and running today. The networking stuff took a while to get worked out, but after I got it all figured out, I was pleased. I've reported about 30 different issues via the MS feedback application, so hopefully they'll take me seriously.

The next thing I worked on this morning was getting the CW remote debugger stub to work. That took a bit of playing, but I finally got the thing functioning. So now I can fix Vista issues without having to rely just on debug strings. w00t!

So I started looking into a handful of what I thought were the easier issues, and they all turned out to be compatibility problems with Vista. So I reported all of those issues, and now I'm done. When you find 5 app compat issues in a row, you know it's time to move on to something different.

I have no real plans for tonight, but since it's hump-day, I feel the need to go out and do something. I wanted to go grocery shopping, but that's boring as shit. So I may meander over to a bar tonight -- see if someone cares to join me. I figure I'll call around until someone answers and feels like drinking. :-P And if that doesn't work, I'll go bug the neighbors and see if they wanna play cards or something.

In any event, I'm going to go play around some more with various geek toys. Hope everyone is having a better, less dreary day than I am! :-)

Hey, I would drink with you, but I don't drink.

Hows that crystalfontz thingy coming?

drink one for me - gotta work. :)

What bar? What time? I may be able to be talked into something if The Boy doesn't call.

Thanks for making me laugh last night. I had a blast and I'm sorry that "Steven" is gone from my life forever. Next time I'll grow some balls.

Hey, thanks for going out too! It was fun, and you really should have asked him out. He could have been the man of your dreams. Who knows, maybe Steven will come back some other time. :-P
