I can't give any specifics away... but boy am I looking forward to the first alpha of r3. I've been working a lot on polishing up various things, and I'm excited to see it in a release. Mind you, I'm not done polishing up everything I want to see polished. But the things which I have put some shine on are really great. Hopefully other people are as excited by it as I am. :-)
I've spent most of my day marvelling at how quickly I can get work done on a new dev box. My compile times are a ton less than they used to be, so I feel much more productive. That, in turn, makes me a much happier person.
Oh well, sorry to cut this short, but I've got one last bug fix I want to sneak in before we put together an alpha.
7pm the alpha went out, with my bug fix in it. w00t! But my one last fix turned into three fixes and one feature. I hope I get done working before it's time to start working again tomorrow.
Tough to stop when you're on a roll, though!
If you're going to polish more, please check this one: jsznewda
This problem is there since 2006r1 and breaks the "look and feel" of listboxes on all Windows applications. It was working fine on 2005r4.
The only problem is, the new dev box makes your ass look fat.
Whats a guy to do?
Aaron, just saying hi. I'll be living in the library all day studying physics. Hopefully I'll be home at some point tonight, but....today was my last day of class of 4 years of college!! YAH! (1 semester left) But you already know this. Anyways, little brother keeps distracting me, talk to you later.
@Elissa: Congrats! Must feel good :)
Elissa-
Congratulations! When do you start the next degree?
(By the way, I knew a guy in college who was in his seventh straight year of college. He was in a frat and didn't want to leave.)
