I just realized that the majority of my Internet "favorites" seem to be disappearing.
Homestar Runner? They used to update on a weekly basis. Now it's beyond monthly. No clue what happened either; it's not like their stuff got less funny as time went on. They just sort of disappeared.
Maddox? Stopped posting. Which is fine, because I guess I can only handle so much Maddox. :-P
Nothing Nice to Say? On again, off again, on again, off again. Mitch can't seem to figure out whether he wants to keep it or kill it and so it sits in this strange limbo where there's a flurry of updates and "I'm bringing it back to life" posts, and then months where nothing happens.
So what internet favs of your seem to be letting you down recently? And what's been replacing the oldies?
For me, I've been digging on Ok/Cancel and Something Positive for my web comic needs. In terms of blogging, I've pretty much stopped reading Sara Ford since she got out of accessibility and testing, but picked up Michael Kaplan in her place. I must admit that I only understand about every third word in his blogs, but I still find it fairly interesting. I've been growing less and less interested in reading Slashdot (mostly due to the slashdrones), and haven't really found a replacement site for it. I know there are some out there, but I really haven't found one I actually like.
I like looking through this one certain blog now and again...let me see if I can find the URL...

Pretty good one, but the guy seems a bit uptight about UI guidelines. :P
I am liking digg better than slashdot lately, once you get through all the liberal, swine, 20-year-old-I know-everything comments.
@Anthony -- har har har. ;-)
@Bill -- Spoken like a true republican. Don't you have a wildlife reserve to go drilling in? ;-)
I only wish!
Well Aaron, my favorite web comic that seems to be on the death watch list is Sinfest (www.sinfest.net)... I greatly miss it.
Aaron and Bill: you are too hilarious.
My web comic of choice lately is Ill Will Press: http://www.illwillpress.com
It's a bi-weekly flash animation featuring the less-than-politically-correct Foamy the squirrel.
