I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe and fun Thanksgiving holiday (for those of us who celebrate it today)!
I'm going to be heading down to the farm pretty quick here for a family celebration at my grandparent's place. Not looking forward to the 2.5 hour drive, but then again, I shouldn't have to deal with traffic either. ;-) I'll probably be back sometime tonight, fat and happy.
What plans do others have? And just because I'm strange... if you're not having turkey for your celebratory feast, what are you having instead? I think we're having a ham at mine (though I've heard there may be a turkey as well -- we have a lot of people to feed). I know Lis is having a tofurkey at hers, so I'm curious to know whether that goes over well or not.
Tofurkey.... *sigh* We're having Turkey and a ham. And whatever else people bring. We aren't really all that picky. I am rather looking forward to the sweet potato casserole. That is always so good. We have so many people coming, it's going to be chaos. But lets be thankful for the chaos, because it could be worse.
Roasting 4 large pigs here, gotta feed everyone in the office. No To-Piggy here either, this is the real-deal, the hi-test version.
Cracklings for everybody!
since I'm in Canada I'm working and probably having pizza for dinner !
enjoy
Tofurky. Mmmmmmmmm.
