Whata weekend

Where to begin? Ok, so on Friday, I did something. However, I don't really recall what it was. Normally, this would mean I had an overly good time, but alas, it doesn't mean that this time. It just means I'm forgetful.

However, on Saturday, I had real fun. I did chores (not the fun part), went over to mom and dad's place for a nice lunch (sorta fun), helped rake their yard for the third time this fall (still not the fun part) and then went bowling with Dana, Nate, Lou and Steve (finally, the fun part!). My first game was my worst-bowled game ever. I got like a 45 or something horrendous like that. Granted, my first frame was bowled for me because I was a few minutes late getting to the lanes), so I got zeros. However, I couldn't find squat until about the 9th frame when I *finally* found my stance, hold, boards and mark. My second game was more on par with how I usually bowl: a 180. It's amazing how well you can bowl once things click, but what sucks for me is that I use lane balls all the time. So every time I go bowling, I have to re-learn how to play under different "rules." In any event, we were only able to bowl two games before we had to go into the bar and drink. Had to. Honest. Either that, or we'd have to pay something like 20$ a piece to bowl with the glow-bowling-tons-of-fake-f0g-and-black-lights-while-listening-to-teen-shit-music people. Needless to say, drinking in the bar was more fun.

Then there was today. I got up today, went back over to mom and dad's because I wanted to watch the Vikings suck on national TV like they always do. Oh yeah, and I needed the ramps so I could change oil in the truck. But I had a nice lunch! After I got home, I did a bit more work on Advanced Graphics for Windows and released a quick update fixing some issues. Then I got an awesome call from Adam: he and Andrea are expecting! Wahoo and a big, fat congrats to both of them! Lucky ducks!

So yeah, it's been a nice weekend. I didn't get much done that I had planned to get done, but it was still productive enough that I feel like I can sleep well tonight. :-P

Oh yeah, and I'm thinking of having a LAN on Sat, Dec 9th. So anyone who's in the area and interested in geeking out, give me a shout so I can plan accordingly.

Bowling? Damn, where do you find the time for all this stuff? I am now getting 4 hours of sleep a day and still do not have enough time in a day to get everything I need to done.

Get a job slacker.

Yeah, I'm with Bill. I never go to bed feeling like I get enough done, I just sleep because I'm too exhausted to do anything else and then I just wake up and work as hard as I can for the next 19 hours all over again...

Yes! Lis gets it.

One of my fathers favorite quotes as I was growing up was, "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean". You can bet I was always busy doing something, as I hated cleaning.
