This should be interesting, eh?
- Elissa and I got engaged at Ink's Lake in Texas. That's a pretty big ticket item for this year.
- I bought a new (to me) truck from grandpa, and still haven't sold the old one. Yeesh!
- I had my one year anniversary of living in my house.
- I started working on finishing off my basement.
- Elissa and her cat Miikka moved in with me.
- I spent my first Christmas away from family.
- I learned tons of new things about the internals of REALbasic; from plugins to the debugger and plenty in between.
- I ate sushi for the very first time, and loved it (anyone know of a good place in central MN to get sushi?).
- I learned more about diamonds than I ever thought possible.
- I got an XBox 360 and played the hell out of Oblivion.
- I got WoW, and I'm playing the hell out of that too. ;-)
- I had more problems with my hosting service than ever before.
I hope next year is just as great as the last year!
This year's New Year's resolution was an interesting one. Lis and I decided we were going to pick the resolution for the other. So the resolution I picked for her was to turn off lights and close cabinet doors after she leaves the room. And the one she picked for me is to surprise her once a month with something nice (such as a night on the town). Should be fun! :-)

Once a day, buddy, at the minimum.
I have had better luck with concentrating on lots and lots of "nice" little surprises than periodic "big" surprises.
Then again (as you well know), there are no lack of surprises in the early years of a marriage. 12 years of marriage here, my wife still puzzles me on a near daily basis.
