Yay!

I have some very exciting news which no one here cares about (probably): the basement is finally primed! :-) I spent almost all day yesterday getting the basement worked on while Lis spent the day unpacking tons of her stuff and putting it away. The house is beginning to look like a home again, finally.

Lis still has a bit of unpacking left to do, which she'll hopefully take care of this week. And tomorrow afternoon, we're heading out to Avon for a while to look at carpet, doors and trim for the basement. Once we figure out what colors of paint we're going to put on the walls, it's time to get doors hung and flooring down. So things are shaping up nicely!

We're heading down to Bloomington today to wish my cousin Kelly good luck. She and her husband are moving out to Indiana for her husband's new job. It's going to be sad seeing Kelly go, but I wish them both the best of luck.

Well, time to go have a spot of lunch before we head out. I hope everyone's having a good weekend.
