In less than an hour, Lis and I hit the road on our way to California. :-)

Good Luck!
Hopefully the move will not be too traumatic!
Call me up if you run into any trouble along the way, bail, cash or medicine are easy.
good luck!!! and a safe trip. I met my wife while teaching in Wisconsin and brought her back to California over 34 years ago.
We both still remember it, very fondly.
Best of luck to you two.
Praying for your safe travels!
Drive safely. I'll contact you about our previous discussion when you arrive in California.
Thanks guys! After 12 long hours on the road, we've stopped for the night in North Platte, NE. Our hope is to make it thru Colorado tomorrow and into Riverside by Friday night.
Wow!
We spend our second night in North Platte. We left Milwaukee about 3:30pm and got clobbered by the rush hour in Chicago and stayed in Joliet the first night.
Gary
We made reasonably good time today, and are spending the night in Richfield, UT. That means we're getting really close (only about 500 more miles to go).
And now we're in Riverside! w00t! We made it in this evening at around 6pm and spent a long while finding a place to spend the night since we can't get into our new place until tomorrow afternoon.
Hee hee, you're a Californian now! Visit White Castle over there for me...it's been a long while. Riverside is only about 160 or so miles from me, but it's way too far for reminiscing. ;)
Get me your new Phone number, I am getting the Aaron DT's!
Greetings from New York City. I'm glad you and Lis made it safely. I hope you'll enjoy your new home.
