Phew! Time flies when you're busy as hell, right? ;-) REAL World went really well this year, but unfortunately I wasn't able to hang out with users nearly as much as I wanted to. I enjoy talking to users, so when I'm not able to do that (but have the opportunity to), it's disappointing. However, on the plus side, I didn't get sick this year!
After REAL World, it's been a strange mixture of laid-back hanging around, and chasing like mad to get everything ready for the wedding. We've spent most of our time out in the beautiful countryside of rural Texas, which has been very relaxing. But at the same time, I've made a lot of phone calls to vendors to make sure everything's finalized. Paying people, etc. So it's been hectic too!
Friday's approaching fast! But tonight should be fun -- my family and I are going out for my birthday, probably to get some good Mexican food (of course, I've not planned a single thing for it, even though people keep asking me to!). It'll be nice to have a fun evening out where I don't have to think about wedding plans (I hope).
Anywho -- I'll be sure to let everyone know how the wedding goes once it happens. Wish me luck! ;-)
Best of luck, Aaron! I hope the wedding is wonderful and the marriage even better!
It's Lis that needs the luck!
Hope Friday's a wonderful day but much more importantly, that it's the beginning of many years of happiness.
There is only ONE rule. All other rules are simply corollaries: If Mamma ain't happy then no one's happy.
Learn It. Live It. Love It! :)
I agree with Bob 110%.
But I think you're a good guy so you should not have any issues!
Good luck!
Tom
Just remember "Yes dear".
it will save you hours of relearning everything you thought you knew.
LOL And don't forget the "is there anything else I can do for you?"
Happy birthday, btw!
Well...I'm just late to the party now aren't I. Since it's now Saturday, I can't exactly say good luck, but I definitely hope your wedding went perfectly!
...You did show up, right? ;)
I only know you from your blog, which is always filled with great RB tips, in addition to at least 2 direct "saves" that you helped me with before I went insane. One day I'll make it to REALworld and hopefully be able to meet up in person.
Just think, by RW next year you'll have 1.5 kids, heading off to your third vacation house, and be getting ready to plan for retirement. Whew, time does fly fast :)
Seriously though - congratulations and have fun.
