Wahoo! We're done with all things wedding related (with the exception of the honeymoon, now that I think about it). We had our MN reception on Saturday at my parent's house in Sartell, and it went off without a hitch. We had about 60 people show up throughout the day. Even though the invite said 1-4, we were entertaining guests from about 10am until 10pm, which is about what I figured it would be. When you have a family as large as mine... ;-)
I brought Lis back to the airport today since she has to get back to work tomorrow morning. She's heading up to NorCal to collect more sharpshooters for her colonies later this week. Her field season is in full swing, otherwise she'd have been able to take more time to stay in MN. But I'm here until the 4th of July, which is quite nice. I'm very excited to get away from all things work related and decompress. I'll be up at my parent's lake lot, helping dad to put in a dock, pound a well and start building the garage. So it's a "working" vacation, but one that will involve a fair amount of fishing. Sucks that Elissa can't stick around for it though. :-(
